Show Summary
Kyle XY seasons are science fiction teen drama created by Eric Bress and J. Mackye Gruber. The show moves around the protagonist Kyle who awakens in forest and does not have any childhood memory. In all seasons he tries to find out the reality about his past. The show has been produced by Julie Plec, Charlie Gogolak, and Curtis Kheel in association with executive producers Eric Tuchman, David Himelfarb, J. Mackye Gruber, Chris Bender, J.C. Spink, Richard Heus and Eric Bress. Originally the show was broadcasted on ABC Family channel. Kyle XY season 1 was premiered on 26th June, 2006.
Other than Kyle, season’s main characters are Nicole Trager, Stephen Trager, Lori, Josh, Declan McDonough, Amanda and Jessi XX. Kyle suffers from amnesia, he is found and adopted by Trager family; where he learns to speak, eat drink etc. Nicole Trager, who adopted Kyle, is married to Stephen and has two biological children, Josh and Lori. She is a psychiatrist by profession. Her husband Stephen works at MadaCorp after loosing his first job as software programmer. Their daughter Lori Trager has interest in learning guitar. Many times she had an on off relation with Declan. Declan McDonough is Kyle’s best friend and share their secrets with each other. Amanda is a very good pianist and Kyle’s girlfriend, who lives his next door. Jessi XX’s story is similar to Kyle. Even she did not know anything about her but both of them finds out that a company has manufactured them and is going to manufacture many alike. Kyle XY season 1 was ABC Family channel’s highest rated original show which clearly proves that millions of fans watch this show. Two novels based on the show have been already released by S. G. Wilkins while two have been announced to be released soon. A pop rock soundtrack of Kyle XY was released on 22nd May, 2007 by MySpace records. An alternate reality game based on the show was released, where player has to find out the truth about Kyle’s past with the help of given clues. Kyle XY seasons ended on 16th March, 2009.
